"Let them be lights in the vault of heaven to shine on the earth." And so it was. Day One. God said, "Let there be a vault...to divide the waters in two." Day Two. "Let the waters under heaven come together into a single mass, and let the dry land appear...Let the earth produce vegetation..." Day Three. "Let there be light in heaven...the greater to govern the day, the smaller to govern the night..." Day Four. "Let the waters team with the living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth..." Day Five. "Let the earth produce every kind of living creature...Let us make man in our own image...male and female..." Day Six. "Thus heaven and earth were completed with all their array." And God said to rest. Day Seven. The eighth stain glass window in the sanctuary depicts how Christ is the center of not only our lives, but also, of Creation.
