STAFF CORNER
Greetings from Lima Life Teen,
Sunday, September 12, 2010, we will be kicking off a new year of Lima Life Teen, Total Youth Ministry. We would like to invite all high school students to attend.
Lima Life Teen begins each Sunday night with Mass at 6 pm. After Mass we have dinner and what we call a Life Night that lasts until 9 pm. Every High School student is welcome to attend. We encourage everyone to try out the program for at least 6 weeks. We also recommend that if someone attended at one time and didn't really like it to try it again. Each year we make new and creative changes to this ministry.
May we as a parish remember to pray for all of our teens on a daily basis. May we always remember that they need us to be models of faith for them. May we always encourage every teen we meet that they have the ability to be light to this culture, and they can make a stand for what is right.
Please join us in praying each day the following prayer:
Lord Jesus:
I want to see you.
I want to know you.
I want to follow you.
I want to know your will for me,
So I may do it.
I love you.
Amen
Thank you all for supporting vibrant youth ministry in the community.

Wow! What a happening we had at the St. Charles Parish Picnic on Sunday - the weather was hot but the large crowd had a great time. We all enjoyed hearing Shannon O'Neill sing. Thanks to many members for their help. Pete - the food was great. Special thanks to Mary Niese & Mary Shak for running the kids games. Next week we will have a listing of all of our special "angels" who helped make this day a success. God bless! Grace Steck
